FAQ

Q: How many devices can I add?

A: Technically, it is possible to add up to 144 devices; however, each system will have its own limitations depending on the device types and quantities. You can add as many devices as you like as long as the Bridge's memory does not drop below 50KB.

An alternative solution is to connect the same eWeLink account to two different Google accounts, allowing you to use a second Bridge. For the second Bridge, simply sign in with a different Google account.

Q: Will my devices work without internet?
A: No, the bridge requires internet connection to communicate with eWeLink servers.

Q: Do I need to keep the eWeLink app?
A: No, once devices are added to HomeKit, you can control them directly through the Home app. However, we recommend keeping the eWeLink app to access additional features such as inch mode, energy consumption monitoring, detailed device information, and sharing devices with other users.

Q: What happens if my credits expire?
A: Devices will remain in HomeKit but won't respond to commands until credits are renewed.

Q: How do I update the bridge firmware?

  1. Download the Bridge firmware https://homehome.app/firmware/
  2. Go to https://bridge.homehome.app to see the IP address of the Bridge from its last startup.
  3. Click update button. Upload the firmware file.
  4. Wait for the update to complete. The bridge will restart automatically
